Today is the day! No Boring Stories publishes today. You can find it pretty much wherever books are sold. Mosey on over to your library or local independent bookstore if you're lucky enough to have one, read it, and let me know what you think. I hope it inspires you to write your own weird stories.
I'll take this opportunity to pull the curtain back a bit and let you know that this book was very hard to write. It took a lot of revisions before I figured out what it was actually about. If you want a look at how far it's come, here is the very first version of this book, from early 2012, when it was about talking furniture. You can read a little more about the revision process here, and this Twitter thread goes into more detail about how I worked for months to get the book right, and then it sat waiting for publishing, and in the meantime turned racist (yikes!).
I'm so proud of how it turned out. The final version is a book of my heart, and is extremely autobiographical (except I'm not a bunny) (probably).
