I would LOVE to write a raven book. Oh wait, I am. But it's a novel. More on that in...uh, five years?

Those ravens are hilarious. It’s as if they are TRYING to sound ridiculous.

I KNOW. I've heard ravens doing a casual croaky thing before, but I have never heard them do this long, involved, screaming Marco Polo match. It was so amazing.

I enjoyed them, too--also, I guess I haven't lived anywhere with a bunch of ravens, so I really thought their "call" would sound more like the word "nevermore" somehow. Like, I thought that was a real thing. LOL! Oh, Elayne. Sweet summer child.

Ok, IN YOUR DEFENSE, I think they CAN talk. If they want to. And are pets.

I LOVE that you declared it. “I’m not checking my email.” So good

Wow, those ravens can squawk! I only have crows here in Ohio, but they’re pretty raucous also.

And you’ve convinced me to not check email in August when I go on retreat.

Also…I still have that Sark poster…😳

I LOVE THAT YOU STILL HAVE THAT POSTER! We have many many crows too, and the ravens we have around here (at home) are more crow-sized. The woods ravens were so enormous!
